Chandel: Wisecrabs organised the third edition of its flagship programme, ‘In Conversations’, a felicitation-cum-interactive session dedicated to honouring achievers of the MPSC CSE 2022, on Saturday.
The event, held at Town Hall, Panchai village, Chandel, saw enthusiastic participation by students, teachers, parents, and civil service aspirants from across the district.
The programme honoured three successful candidates: Katrimsha Moningpha Tarao (Rank 12), Lucksha N. Moyon (Rank 108), and RL Sharika (Rank 139), who were accompanied by their respective parents.
Around 300 students from various educational institutions, including Oak Hill Christian Academy, Koinonia Training School, St Peter’s Higher Secondary School, St. Joseph High School, Model Residential School and United College, Lambung, Chandel, participated in the interactive session.
According to organisers, the programme received support from several distinguished individuals and well-wishers: Dr Danney Chara (Principal of United College, Chandel), Reikimdaar Khaling (SDO Chandel), Albert Chothe (Contractor), Amarson Sankhil (Principal, JNV Chandel), Stephen Nula (DCO Chandel), ST Rithung MCS (ADC Noney), and Rd Esther (Principal, DIET). The felicitation session was moderated by Wisecrabs executive NL Roshni.
Speaking on the occasion, TS Mhanthung, President of Wisecrabs, highlighted the importance of recognising and celebrating the achievements of home-grown talents. He stressed the need to create meaningful platforms for interaction between achievers and aspiring students. Mhanthung also emphasised the vital role that positive role models play in guiding and motivating young, impressionable minds toward academic and professional excellence.
Mhanthung also reflected on Wisecrabs’ formative journey as an inclusive, dynamic, and progressive platform dedicated to documenting and celebrating the accomplishments of people from the Chandel district, with the aim of inspiring future generations.
During the interactive session, the three achievers candidly shared insights into their upbringing, academic journeys, exam preparation strategies, challenges, and aspirations. Students participated enthusiastically in the question-and-answer segment, seeking guidance and inspiration from the achievers.
