Guwahati: In a bid to foster awareness and understanding of the Armed Forces among students, Assam Rifles organised a captivating weapon and equipment display at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Silchar.
The event, on Friday, included an insightful motivational lecture, aiming to enlighten students about the history of the Armed Forces.
The weapon display not only showcased an array of military equipment but also provided students with a unique opportunity to gain firsthand experience of the role played by the armed forces in securing the nation’s borders.

The event was marked by the inquisitiveness and enthusiasm of the students, who were keen to explore the weaponry and equipment featured in the Assam Rifles’ inventory.
Students were also introduced to the historical significance of the Armed Rifles. This initiative aimed to inspire the young minds at NIT Silchar and create awareness about the diverse career opportunities available in the Army and Assam Rifles.
