vivo has launched a new smartphone in India, the vivo Y29 5G, expanding its Y series lineup. The device boasts a sleek design with a unique circular Dynamic Light that enhances the camera module with vibrant lights during music playback and dynamic reminders. It’s the first in its segment with Military Grade Resistance and SGS certification, combining a cushioned structure with IP64-rated dust and water resistance.
The vivo Y29 5G features a 6.68-inch 120Hz LCD screen with 1000 nits of brightness and TÜV Rheinland certification for eye protection. The Dimensity 6300 processor and a 5500mAh battery with 44W FlashCharge power the device. vivo claims that this battery can provide up to 19.7 hours of YouTube playback, 11.3 hours of PUBG gaming, and 14.5 hours of social media usage.
In terms of photography, the vivo Y29 5G packs a 50MP rear camera with AI Night Mode and an 8MP front camera. The phone runs on Funtouch OS 14 and is available in three colors: Glacier Blue, Titanium Gold, and Diamond Black.
The vivo Y29 5G is available in various configurations of RAM and storage, with prices starting at Rs. 13,999 for the 4GB/128GB variant. The 6GB/128GB model is priced at Rs. 15,499, while the 8GB/128GB variant costs Rs. 16,999. The top-of-the-line 8GB/256GB model is available for Rs. 18,999.
