The Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has reported steady growth in freight loading for October 2024, with 0.782 million tonnes of goods transported across various commodities. This marks a significant increase in key areas compared to the same period last year.

Cement loading saw the most notable rise, with a growth of 118.8%, while dolomite loading increased by 30.5%. Ballast loading registered a 21.9% increase, and miscellaneous items showed a 19% rise.
The cumulative freight loading for NFR up to October 2024 reached 6.150 million tonnes, reflecting a 6.6% increase over the corresponding period of the previous year.
