PM Narendra Modi likely to visit Assam on Dec 20–21

Guwahati: The Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, is scheduled to embark on a two-day visit to Assam on March 8, 2024. PM Modi is expected to arrive at Kohora on the evening of March 8 and stay overnight.

The following morning, he will undertake a safari inside the park before heading to Jorhat to participate in a series of programs.

Earlier on Tuesday, Assam’s Forest and Environment Minister, Chandra Mohan Patowary, visited the Kaziranga National Park and held meetings with senior officials, including Chief Secretary Paban Borthakur and Director General of Police G. P. Singh, in order to finalise the arrangements made for the Prime Minister’s visit.
