NFR to run special trains for ADRE Exam aspirants in Assam

In an effort to manage the increased passenger traffic, the Northeast Frontier (N.F.) Railway has announced the extension of services for two pairs of special trains. The trains, numbered 06103/06104 and 06105/06106, running between Nagercoil Junction and Dibrugarh Junction, will now operate for two additional trips in both directions, maintaining their existing schedules and stops.

Train No. 06103 (Nagercoil Jn. – Dibrugarh) will now run from 7th June to 21st June 2024, every Friday. Its return service, Train No. 06104 (Dibrugarh – Nagercoil Jn.), is extended from 12th June to 26th June 2024, operating every Wednesday.

Similarly, Train No. 06105 (Nagercoil Jn. – Dibrugarh) will continue its journey from 14th June to 28th June 2024, on Fridays. The return service, Train No. 06106 (Dibrugarh – Nagercoil Jn.), will run from 19th June to 3rd July 2024, on Wednesdays. This extension is aimed at accommodating waitlisted passengers on these routes.

In addition to these extensions, N. F. Railway has scheduled a one-way summer special train, No. 05680, from Guwahati to Howrah. This train will depart from Guwahati at 05:50 hours on 7th June 2024 (Friday) and arrive in Howrah at 03:00 hours on Saturday. The train will include 21 coaches for passenger convenience and will stop at several stations, including Goalpara Town, New Bongaigaon, New Jalpaiguri, Malda Town, and Bardhaman.
