NFR announces train disruptions for safety work in Assam

Northeast Frontier Railway (N. F. Railway) has decided to operate a few more summer special trains on the listed routes this season in order to meet the rising demand of passengers during the peak summer season.

From April 28 to May 19, a total of nine special trains will depart from SMVT Bengaluru at 00:30 hours every Sunday, arriving in Guwahati at 05:30 hours on Tuesday. The return journey from Guwahati will depart on Wednesday every week from 06:00 hours and reach SMVT Bengaluru at 10:00 hours on Friday.

Another train departs from Vadodara at 23:30 hours on April 24 (Wednesday) and reaches Katihar at 16:30 hours on Friday. The return trip from Katihar will depart on Saturday at 15:00 hours and reach Vadodara at 07:30 hours on Monday.

From Anand Vihar Terminal to Jogbani, a total of seven special trains will operate every Tuesday from April 30 to June 25, 2024, arriving in Jogbani at 05:20 hours on Thursday.

The return journey from Jogbani will depart on Thursday every week from 09:00 hours until June 27, 2024, arriving at Anand Vihar Terminal at 16:05 hours on Friday.

Free drinking water will be available at all stations throughout the journey to keep passengers hydrated during the peak summer season.
