Senapati: Tensions flared in Manipur’s Senapati district on Wednesday following reports of the recovery of six bodies, with two trucks allegedly set ablaze later in the evening.
According to sources, the incident occurred at around 7:20 pm at the Kathikho Karong garbage dumping site in Senapati.
The vehicles, identified as a container truck and a six-wheeler truck, had reportedly arrived from Imphal at approximately 2:30 pm and were parked at the dumping area when the fire broke out.
Sources said both trucks were empty at the time of the incident.

The drivers of both vehicles are reportedly untraceable, raising further concerns amid the prevailing tension in the district.
