The All India Council approves the Post Graduate Diploma in Management of Technical Studies (PGDM). It is a two-year post-graduation program that provides students with a masters degree in management. There are over 5500 colleges and institutions that offer PGDM programs, with some offering specialized programs in areas such as data analytics, market research, and entrepreneurship.

Students who have completed their undergraduate degree and are looking for a post-graduation program in management can opt for either an MBA or a PGDM program. The MBA program is a two-year post-graduation program that provides students with a masters degree in business administration. It is offered by over 5500 colleges and institutions around the world, and students can get the option to work in consulting, investment banking, marketing and sales, operations and supply chain management, product management, and entrepreneurship. The PGDM program, on the other hand, is a two-year post-graduation program that provides students with a masters degree in business administration and a chance to work in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, retail, and logistics. The curriculum for the PGDM program is more flexible and allows students to choose a project that they are passionate about and want to pursue.

One of the key differences between the two programs is the duration of the study. The MBA program generally takes three years to complete, while the PGDM program takes two years. Students who are interested in pursuing a masters degree in business administration should consider their options carefully and weigh the potential benefits and drawbacks of each program.
