Agartala: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will bring the curtains down on the high-octane poll campaign in favour of BJP candidate for West Tripura and former Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb.
The Prime Minister will address a public meeting at Swami Vivekananda Maidan located here in Agartala. Workers of BJP and allied parties from all over the state will attend the meeting.
The BJP has set a target of assembling 50,000 people on the day. “A special committee has been constituted that will look after the preparations of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s rally scheduled on April 17. The people of Tripura are keen to listen to the Prime Minister, who has done a lot of things for them. On the last day of the vocal campaign in West Tripura, our Prime Minister is arriving, which is a big thing for the party and organisation,” BJP spokesperson Subrata Chakraborty has said.

But, he may come on April 15 next. He will canvass for Kriti Singh Debbarman, our candidate for the East Tripura parliamentary constituency,” added Chakraborty.
