Navi Mumbai: The players of Delhi Capitals are once again forced into isolation after a net bowler from the team tested positive for Covid-19. The Delhi Capitals are scheduled to face CSK on Sunday night at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai.

IPL sources confirmed that one player of DC has tested positive for Covid-19 in the morning because of which all the other players have been asked to stay in their rooms. They further added that a fresh round of Covid-19 testing for all the players of the contingent was scheduled on Sunday morning.

It is the second time during the ongoing IPL 2022 season that the players from DC have been forced into isolation.

Six members of the team including  Mitchell Marsh, Tim Seifert, physio Patrick Farhart and three non-playing members had tested positive for the virus earlier in the season.

Delhi Capitals’ matches against Punjab Kings and Rajasthan Royals, which were scheduled in Pune, have been shifted to Mumbai.

The players of DC will be undergoing another round of Covid-19 testing as per IPL protocol, until which all of them have to stay in isolation.
