Shillong: A total of 206 candidates from Meghalaya, including five women, have successfully cleared the Common Entrance Exams (CEE) for Agniveer (Army) recruitment.

This was announced by Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma, who took to his social media page to congratulate the candidates.

Chief Minister Sangma highlighted the efforts of the DC Office, East Khasi Hills, in conducting a pre-recruitment coaching programme.

This initiative, under the Chief Minister’s Special Grant and in collaboration with the office of the Zila Sainik Welfare Officer, played a significant role in empowering the candidates and enhancing their chances of selection.

“We are proud of each of them,” Sangma added, expressing his admiration for the successful candidates.

He further wished all the successful candidates the very best for the upcoming physical test scheduled for January 2025. “May you continue to work hard to achieve your goal,” said Sangma.
