In continuation of the National Integration Tour conducted by Assam Rifles in March 2024 for students of remote schools in Manipur’s Nungba and adjoining areas, a special event titled ‘A Day with Company Commander’ was organised in Nungba today.
The event saw the participation of 80 boys and girls, including teachers from St. John’s School, and representatives of the Nungba women’s society.
The day-long event provided an opportunity for the students to engage in various team-building activities such as Blindfolded Tent Pitching, Spider Web Crossing, and Water Volleyball. These activities aimed to instil the importance of teamwork and camaraderie among the participants.
The event also featured a musical spectacle, where the music enthusiasts from the Assam Rifles, as well as students, showcased their talents.
The day concluded with a feast shared by the students, company commander, and other participants. During the feast, the students expressed their desire to join the Armed Forces, particularly the Army and Air Force, to serve the nation with pride and glory.
