Imphal: A border village in Kamjong district, Manipur, witnessed a devastating fire on Wednesday afternoon, razing at least one private home to the ground.
The blaze, which ignited in Hangao Kaphung village, completely destroyed the home of one Yaruingam, according to sources.
Horrifying video footage captured villagers desperately trying to douse the flames, but their efforts were in vain as the inferno quickly engulfed the entire structure.

Yaruingam’s family lost all their belongings in the devastating fire.
The cause of the fire remains unknown at the time of this writing. No official estimate of the property loss has been released yet.
