As a student, the most important thing is to make informed financial decisions, not just follow the whims of others, according to renowned investor Sri Vijay Kedia.

He stated, “Young people and particularly students should focus on making educated financial decisions instead of getting influenced or swayed by others’ opinions.”

Kedia was speaking at a session on “Market Master, Individual Investor, and TEDX Speaker” at the Assam Royal Global University on September 20, 2024. He shared his knowledge of how to analyze company performance reports before investing.

He reminded the audience of the famous quote, “Rome was not built in a day,” adding that “however, Hiroshima and Nagasaki were destroyed in less than one day”, emphasizing the importance of patience and perseverance in making money.

The renowned investor said that he identifies himself as a “Work In Progress” and that finding the right investment opportunity is when a company is at an inflection point.

He highlighted the importance of patience in making money, stating that investing in a company at its inflection point is a primary tool for gaining substantial returns.
