Aizawl: Assam Rifles, in partnership with Pragathi Edutech Trust, launched a free training program in hotel management for the youth of Mizoram, with guaranteed job placements upon successful completion.
This initiative, organized under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program of Indian Oil Ltd, aims to empower Mizoram’s youth by offering employment opportunities in the hospitality sector, both within and outside India, based on individual skill levels.
The selected candidates will undergo a three-month training program in Guwahati, where they will receive free mentorship, accommodation, and meals. The course is designed to equip participants with the essential skills for a successful career in hospitality.
Ahead of the selection process, Assam Rifles promoted the opportunity through Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), student organizations, and youth groups. On Tuesday, 47 youths, including 31 boys and 16 girls, from Aizawl, Serchhip, Kolasib, Saitul, Champhai, Mamit, and Khawzawl attended the walk-in interview.
After the results of the selection process will be announced soon, the candidates will have the opportunity to attend campus interviews for employment after completing the training.
