NFR to run special trains for ADRE Exam aspirants in Assam

The Northeast Frontier Railway has announced the operation of six pairs of special examination trains to assist candidates appearing for the Assam Direct Recruitment Examination (ADRE), scheduled for 29th September 2024. These trains have been introduced to handle the expected surge in passengers travelling to take the exam, ensuring that aspirants can reach their destinations with ease.

One of the special trains, Train No. 05111, will depart from Alipurduar at 20:10 hours on 28th September and arrive at Kamakhya at 04:00 hours the following day. The return service, Train No. 05112, will leave Kamakhya at 15:00 hours on 29th September and reach Alipurduar by 22:30 hours on the same day. Another service, Train No. 05113, will leave Alipurduar at 17:00 hours on 28th September, reaching Guwahati at 05:00 hours the next day. The return journey on Train No. 05114 will depart from Guwahati at 15:50 hours on 29th September and arrive in Alipurduar at 03:30 hours the next day.

For passengers travelling between Hailakandi and Silchar, Train No. 05115 will depart from Hailakandi at 05:00 hours on 29th September, arriving in Silchar at 07:10 hours the same day. The return trip, Train No. 05116, will leave Silchar at 15:30 hours and reach Hailakandi by 17:40 hours. Additionally, Train No. 05125 will depart from Mariani at 15:35 hours on 28th September and arrive in Narangi by 05:00 hours the next day. The return train, No. 05126, will leave Narangi at 15:30 hours on 29th September and reach Mariani at 03:30 hours the following day.

For those travelling between Alipurduar and New Bongaigaon, Train No. 05127 will leave Alipurduar at 12:00 hours on 28th September, arriving in New Bongaigaon at 18:20 hours. The return journey, Train No. 05128, will depart from New Bongaigaon at 17:50 hours on 29th September, reaching Alipurduar by 00:40 hours the following day. Similarly, Train No. 05129 will leave Haibargaon at 14:00 hours on 28th September and reach Guwahati at 18:00 hours the same day. The return train, No. 05130, will leave Guwahati at 15:00 hours on 29th September, arriving in Haibargaon by 20:00 hours.

These special services have been scheduled to ensure that candidates appearing for the ADRE examination can travel conveniently and reach their destinations on time, reducing the challenges of transportation during this critical period.
