The Music and Dance Club of Assam down town University organized the annual Rabindra Jayanti celebration on May 8, 2024. The event was dedicated to the 163rd birth anniversary of the poet and was attended by students, faculty, and staff members.

In his inaugural address, Prof Manashi Sengupta, the Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, emphasized the relevance of Tagore’s work in today’s world.
