Guwahati: Tragedy struck the village of Hansra-Baraligaon in Samguri under the Nagaon district of Assam, leaving the community reeling after a devastating road accident resulted in 18 individuals sustaining injuries, with four of them currently in critical condition, fighting for their lives.
According to eyewitness accounts, a Tata mobile mini-truck, appearing to lose control, careened dangerously along the highway, eventually colliding with devastating consequences.
The aftermath of the accident painted a grim picture as 18 passengers of the mini-truck were ejected from the vehicle upon impact, their lives hanging precariously in the balance.
In response to the emergency, swift efforts were made by emergency services to reach the scene. Four severely injured victims were urgently transported to Nagaon, underlining the severity of the incident.
