Guwahati: A bus accident in Arunachal Pradesh‘s Longding district has claimed the lives of at least two people.
The bus belonging to the Arunachal Pradesh State Transport Services was travelling from Wakka to Chongkham when it drifted off the road and fell into a gorge.
Reports so far suggest that the driver of the bus is dead. One of the pictures from the spot shows a person being trapped between the bus and a tree.
As per the latest inputs from the ground, rescue operations are currently underway and those injured have been rushed to the district hospital.

However, details regarding the number of people aboard the bus during the accident, the cause of the accident and casualties are yet to be ascertained.
