Pasighat: The Arunachal Pradesh Police in Pasighat on Thursday arrested one Sunny Jerang, a rape accused within three hours of him committing the crime from the Oyan market area near here.
East Siang Superintendent of Police Dr SK Singhal informed that a written complaint was received on March 12 regarding the rape and impregnation of a minor girl in the Oyan market, under the Ruksin subdivision, by Jerang (34) who happens to be an E-commerce delivery boy.

A police team, led by SP Singhal comprising sub-inspector Yike Lomri, assistant sub-inspector C Rina and constables K Mingki, Tennyok Ruttum, M Taying, and Otil Pertin, swiftly acted on the case.
Utilising both human and technical resources, the team apprehended the accused within three hours of registering the case on the same day.
