With six days to go until the first competition events of the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games get under way, over 1.75 million tickets have already been sold.
Tickets for the opening ceremony are still available for €150. For the first time in the history of the Paralympic Games, the public will be able to take part in an unprecedented and exceptional opening ceremony outside a stadium as part of a grandiose celebration of Para athletes and their performances in a breathtaking setting. The ceremony will take place on the Place de la Concorde in Paris.
Tickets are also still available for some of the most popular sports, with nearly all of the wheelchair fencing, para taekwondo, para track cycling, para equestrian and blind football sectors sold out. Tickets for the closing ceremony of the games are also still available for €45.
There are still plenty of opportunities to experience the thrill of watching world-class French and international Para athletes compete in the same iconic, city-centre venues as for the Olympic Games. The great news is that there are still tickets available for as little as €15, giving people the chance to experience the excitement of the Games with emblematic Paralympic sports such as Para Athletics at the Stade de France, Wheelchair Tennis at Roland-Garros, Para Swimming at Paris La Défense Arena in Nanterre and Wheelchair Basketball at Bercy Arena. From €15, you can also discover Paralympic sports that have no Olympic equivalent, such as Boccia and Goalball (Paris South Arena).
