Imphal: In the last 24 hours, Manipur recorded 644 fresh cases of COVID-19 and 11 deaths, taking the total confirmed cases to 41,909 and 646 cumulative deaths due to the novel Coronavirus.
Also, 546 more persons recovered and were discharged on Thursday while active cases increased to 6,904.
All 644 fresh cases are from the general population. Of these, 304 are from Imphal West, 191 from Imphal East, 36 from Thoubal, 33 from Bishnupur, 29 from Kakching, 26 from Churachandpur, six from Ukhrul, five each from Chandel, Noney, Kangpokpi, and three from Tengnoupal district.
The 11 victims are from Imphal West (7), Imphal East (3) and Churachandpur (1).
