Agartala: Four days after Tripura royal scion and chairman of the Indigenous Progressive Regional Alliance (TIPRA) Pradyot Kishore Deb Barman tested positive for novel coronavirus, he has been admitted to ICU in Shillong after doctors’ diagnosed him with COVID pneumonia.
Speaking with EastMojo, Deb Barman said that the doctors have diagnosed him with COVID pneumonia and advised him to get admitted in the hospital.
“Since I have a prevailing heart condition, I have to be extra careful,” Deb Barman said.
He also requested his supporters to not worry about him as he is most likely “going to beat the living day lights out of this virus”. Deb Barman has undergone a series of treatment for his cardiac ailments.

Meanwhile, several political and followers of Deb Barman have started posting “Get well soon Bubagra” wishes on Twitter and Facebook praying for his speedy recovery. Bubagra means the King in the local Kok Borok language.
