In a shocking incident from Guwahati, the police on Sunday arrested the principal of a law college in Guwahati for allegedly sexually harassing his daughter for several months.
The accused was arrested from his residence on Sunday night, based on a complaint filed by his daughter at the Panbazar All Women Police Station.
A case under section 354/352/506/294 and 376 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) has been registered. The alleged accused was produced before a local court on Monday in Guwahati, which sent him to 14-day judicially custody.
