Agartala: Tripura government has decided to start coaching classes for school students through various media platforms. This was announced by chief minister Biplab Kumar Deb.
“The NCERT syllabus is not easy for students to understand without the guidance of the teachers by sitting at home. There are many poor families in Tripura who cannot afford private tuition,” Deb said in a video message.
Coaching classes will be conducted via television and also online. “I urge all the parents, whenever the classes are taken by the teachers, to sit in front of the television with the children and guide them,” Deb appealed. “Coaching on various subjects through social and electronic media will enable students to learn and catch up on their subjects,” he said.

Meanwhile, the Tripura Civil Services preliminary exams will be held on June 7.
The three-stage selection process includes preliminary examination (multiple choice type question pattern only), main examination (pattern of questions in the main examination) and a personality test.
The preliminary exam will be held at centres in Agartala, Ambassa, Dharmangar, Kailashahar and Udaipur.
