Indian Railways to run special trains amid summer surge

To provide comfort to the passengers during the upcoming summer season, N. F. Railway has decided to start operations of special trains between Udaipur City and Katihar.

From April 23 to June 25, 2024, a total of ten trips per day in both directions will be operated between the two cities.

On the other hand, from June 25 to June 27, 2024, the special train will depart from Katihar every Thursday at 15:00 hours and reach Udaipur City at 4:15 hours on Saturday. During the return journey to Udaipur, the train will depart from Udaipur City at 16:05 hours every Tuesday and reach Katihar at 02:45 hours on Thursday.

The special trains will consist of AC two-tier, AC 3-tier, AC 3-tier economy, Sleeper Class & General Seating Coaches. Passengers can travel in AC 2 -tier, AC 3 -tier, and AC 3 -tier economy. Tickets are available.

The N. F. Railway has requested the passengers to check the details of the trip and book their tickets before the journey. The details of the stoppages and timings of the trains are available on the IRCTC website. The information is also being notified in various newspapers and social media platforms of N. F. Railway.
