The Centre for Development of Telematics (C-DOT) has briefed the Chief of the Indian Air Force on the development of indigenous telecom solutions to strengthen aviation security.
During the visit to C-DOT’s Delhi campus on March 26, 2024, Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhari assured the C-DOT team of the Air Force’s full support in the development of advanced security solutions for critical infrastructure in the wake of changing warfare landscapes.
“The future of modern warfare is data-centric. In a changing landscape from network centric to data centric, we need to have better synergy between C-DOT and the Air Force for integration of futuristic and advanced secured communication solutions,” said Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhari.
In his presentation to the C-DOT CEO, Rajkumar Upadhyay highlighted the importance of developing indigenous telecom solutions for critical infrastructure including defence communications and cybersecurity.

He informed that C-DOT is actively working on developing advanced security solutions with real-time detection and mitigation of malicious threats and attacks at an enterprise level covering all endpoints.
Other telecom security solutions such as quantum key distribution, post-quantum cryptography, and fibre broadband have also been developed by C-DOT.
