Kohima: The Women Entrepreneurs Network Nagaland (WENN), in collaboration with the Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI), conducted a one-day Business Governance Workshop for women entrepreneurs across four districts of Nagaland — Meluri, Tseminyu, Wokha and Zunheboto — from May 8 to 16, 2026.
The workshop is part of an ongoing district-wise initiative aimed at strengthening entrepreneurial capacity and promoting sustainable business practices among women entrepreneurs across the state.
The sessions focused on the importance of maintaining proper business compliances and documentation. Participants were equipped with practical knowledge on trade licensing, FSSAI certification, Udyam registration, financial literacy, skill development, and various government schemes available to support entrepreneurial growth.
The workshops were designed to simplify regulatory processes and empower women entrepreneurs with the necessary tools to formalise, manage and scale their businesses effectively.
The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from women entrepreneurs in all four districts, reflecting the growing momentum of women-led enterprises in Nagaland.
