Kohima: The Angami Youth Organisation (AYO) has expressed concern about a “disturbing trend” in Kohima, Nagaland, where numerous business establishments and roadside vendors continue to operate on Sundays, contrary to the directives issued by the Municipal Council and District Administration.
AYO president Kesosul Christopher and press secretary Thepfusavi Suohu informed that many shops and vendors continue to disregard the Sunday closure directive.
Through a press release, the AYO leaders reiterated that shops and business establishments within the Angami jurisdiction should remain closed on Sundays, except those permitted by the Municipal Council and District Administration.
