Kohima: Trance Effect, a popular band from Nagaland, has been selected by the jury of the Gwangju Busking World Cup Festival in South Korea. Advisor to Nagaland chief minister Abu Metha took to X to announce the development.
Metha said that the exciting news comes as a significant positive outcome from the Asia Music Summit 2024, which Nagaland hosted earlier this year.
He informed that Trance Effect stood out among over 900 entries from 58 countries worldwide, securing a spot in the final list of 32 bands.
“This is a testament of the international standards of our talents and the high level of our musicians,” Metha said in a congratulatory tweet.
“I am sure you will make Nagaland proud and be excellent ambassadors of our state and country. Keep Shining,” he added.
