Dimapur: Several prominent organisations, including the Zeliangrong Youth Organisation Nagaland (ZYON), the Zeliangrong Students’ Union Nagaland, the Zeliang Students’ Union Nagaland (ZSU), and the Samziuram Students’ Union (SSU), condemned the distressing revelation of an alleged rape case involving a minor girl and her own biological father in Samziuram village, Peren district of Nagaland.
In a statement, ZYON expressed profound dismay over the act, labeling the father’s actions as unthinkable and a grave threat to both the child and the family. The organisation demanded stringent legal repercussions, emphasising the urgent need to root out such heinous crimes from society.
ZYON stated that it was deeply ashamed with the presence of “such flagrant people with death prick of conscience” infiltrating and polluting the community.
“We appeal to the law enforcement agencies to rigorously investigate and deliver justice to the victim and punish the culprit that may deem fit under the law expeditiously. That no bail should be provisioned and whosoever do so should solely be responsible for any repercussion that may arise in the future,” the ZYON statement read.
Similarly, ZSU echoed sentiments of shock and revulsion, emphasising the necessity for concrete actions rather than mere words to combat such atrocities. They urged law enforcement agencies to swiftly investigate the matter and ensure that justice is served promptly.

Adding their voice to the outcry, the Samziuram Students’ Union (SSU) expressed deep concern over the alleged crime, describing it as shameless and inhumane.
“Raping of his own biological child on multiple occasions by her father where it should be the safest arm to lean on, for which act is shameless, inhuman and unfit to live and coexist in our present society,” it stated.
