Kohima: Amid the call for election boycott in Eastern Nagaland, the government has convened a crucial meeting with the Eastern Nagaland Gazetted Officers Association and other senior State Government officials.
The State Cabinet, led by the Chief Minister, is set to meet with the Eastern Naga state government officers on Thursday 3:00 PM.
The meeting will take place in the Conference Hall of Chief Minister’s Residential Complex in Kohima.
The decision to hold this meeting comes amidst heightened tensions in Eastern Nagaland, where the Eastern Nagaland Peoples’ Organisation (ENPO) and its affiliated tribal bodies have voiced their grievances and called for a boycott of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
