Kohima: As Nagaland chief minister Neiphiu Rio turned 71 on Thursday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and several politicians from across the country extended greetings.
Taking to Twitter, the PM tweeted: “Greetings to Nagaland CM Shri @Neiphiu_Rio on his birthday. May Almighty bless him with a long and healthy life in service of the people.”
Several chief ministers from the North East region also extended greetings. Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma wrote, “Heartiest wishes to Hon’ble CM of Nagaland Shri @Neiphiu_Rio ji on your birthday. Your dedication towards the service of the people is laudable. May almighty bless you with good health & a long life.”
Arunachal CM Pema Khandu also tweeted saying, “Warmest birthday wishes to Hon’ble CM of Nagaland Shri @Neiphiu_Rio Ji. May you lead the State to new heights of glory and achievements. Wishing you with good health, happiness and prosperity on your special day.”
Tripura CM Biplab Kumar Deb tweeted: “Warm birthday greetings to the Chief Minister of Nagaland Shri @Neiphiu_Rio Ji. May Maa Tripurasundari bless him with a long and healthy life.”
Manipur CM N Biren Singh wrote: “Warm birthday greetings to Shri @Neiphiu_Rio Ji, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Nagaland. May the almighty bless you with strength and wisdom to continue serving the people. I pray for your long, healthy and a prosperous life.”
