Kohima: The Indian Army’s Manipur Super-50 initiative, a collaborative effort with the SBI Foundation and the National Integrity & Educational Development Organisation (NIEDO), has recorded a 95% success rate in the NEET 2025 examination.
Of the 39 students enrolled in the programme who appeared for the exam, 37 have qualified, highlighting the initiative’s growing reputation as a beacon of opportunity for Manipur’s underprivileged youth.
The defence PRO for the states Manipur, Nagaland and Southern Arunachal Pradesh informed that among the standout achievers is Philem Jenin Singh, who has emerged as one of the top rankers in the state with an impressive 97.06 percentile. His success reflects not only academic excellence but the power of timely support and structured mentorship.
Established in Bishnupur district, the Manipur Super-50 programme offers free residential coaching for competitive exams such as NEET and JEE. It is aimed at students from economically disadvantaged and marginalised communities across the state.
The official informed that this year’s results highlight the success of this unique civil-
military-academic collaboration for empowering youth through structured mentorship, quality education, and dedicated support.
Several students shared heartfelt messages of gratitude, crediting the programme for giving them a chance they never imagined possible.
“This success reinforces the Indian Army’s steadfast commitment to nation-building beyond the call of duty-empowering communities and shaping future leaders,” the PRO added.
