Guwahati: Following a string of violent incidents in Manipur, security forces have been deployed to restore order and peace in the state.
As per the PIB, armed miscreants from both sides of a community conflict have engaged in violence, leading to multiple deaths and disruptions to public order. The security forces have been directed to take all necessary measures to quell the violence and establish peace.
It was emphasised that strict action will be taken against anyone found participating in violent or disruptive activities. Additionally, significant cases have been transferred to the National Investigation Agency (NIA) for thorough investigation.
The public has been urged to maintain peace, refrain from believing in rumors, and cooperate with the security forces to uphold law and order in Manipur.
