Imphal: In the last 24 hours, Manipur has recorded 330 new positive cases of COVID-19 and 14 more infected persons had succumbed to the virus.
With this, the registered COVID-19 stands at 40,059, with 592 fatalities.
The total active cases rose to 6,338 while the recovery rate has also increased from 82.24 to 82.70% in the last 24 hours.
The new cases are from Imphal West (127), Imphal East (85), Bishnupur (30), Thoubal (29), Kakching (21), Ukhrul (9), Churachandpur (8), Senapati (7), Tamenglong (6), Chandel (3), Noney (3), Jiribam (1) and Kamjong (1).
Meanwhile, the 14 victims were reported from the districts of Imphal West (9) and Imphal East (5), respectively. They were aged 42, 47, 56, 60, 63 (2), 65, 66, 70 (2), 74, 76, 82 and 91.
