In a shocking incident during the Holi celebrations on Monday, a group of inebriated youths allegedly smashed the rear windshield of a car belonging to a cab driver in Guwahati’s Narengi area.
The victim, Jogeshwar Brahma, was inside his house when his family members informed him about the incident. He rushed out to find the rear windshield of his black Maruti Alto car smashed.
Brahma, who relies on his car for his livelihood, expressed his dismay over the incident. He stated that he was enjoying the festivities with his family when the sudden act of vandalism shattered all the festive spirits.
Following the incident, Brahma promptly filed a complaint at the Noonmati Police Station. He alleged that someone, under the influence of alcohol, had caused significant damage to his vehicle.
