The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has released the names of 11 candidates who will compete in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections for Assam. According to the list, Bijuli Kalita Medhi will be the candidate from Guwahati.
Bijuli Kalita Medhi is one of the Vice Presidents of BJP Assam. She completed her schooling at Holy Child School and then studied at Handique Girl’s College and then at Gauhati University.
The names of other candidates for the Assam include Dilip Saikia from Darrang-Udalpuri, Amarsing Tisso from Diphu, Kripanath Malla from Karimganj, Parimal Shuklavaidya from Silchar, Suresh Bora from Nagaon, Kamakhya Prasad Tasa from Kaziranga, Ranjit Dutta from Sonitpur, Pradan Baruah from Lakhimpur, Sarbananda Sonowal Dibrugarh and Tapan Gogoi from Jorhat.
