Longding: Vivek Pandey, IAS, Divisional Commissioner of East Arunachal, conducted a review meeting in Longding to assess the progress of various government projects. Accompanied by Hano Taka, Director of Urban Local Bodies (ULB), Pandey’s official visit included a detailed presentation by Bekir Nyorak, APCS, Deputy Commissioner of Longding.
During the meeting, Pandey reviewed the projects and engaged with the Heads of Departments (HoDs) present. He stressed the importance of an integrated approach to project implementation, urging the HoDs to adopt a composite method to maximise the utilisation of infrastructure and asset-building initiatives. Pandey also highlighted the significance of education, town planning, sanitation, and revenue generation.

He advised the Deputy Commissioner to take strict action against officers who do not remain at their designated stations or leave without prior approval from the competent authority. Following the review meeting, Pandey inspected the functional Material Recovery Facility on his way to Tirap district and assured the provision of necessary machinery to enhance its efficiency.
The meeting was attended by ADC Kanubari, ADC HQ, and HoDs from various departments.
