Longding: The police here on Wednesday arrested two persons allegedly involved in the May 16 Wancho Baptist Church Association (WBCA) office burglary case and recovered around Rs 17 lakh from their possession.
The accused have been identified as Khonak Wangpan (30) and Phelam Wangpang (25).
While both are from the Mintong village in Londging district, Khonak used to work as a WBCA clerk and Phelam was a canteen boy at the SBI branch in Longding.
Following reports of the burglary, the Londging police team led by deputy superintendent of police Chamrak Arun swung to action and conducted multiple raids which led to the arrest of the duo.
