The Francis Scott Key Bridge, which is 1.6 miles long, collapsed early Tuesday morning in Baltimore, the United States. The bridge was hit by a large container ship, causing a massive crash into the river that has sent at least seven people into the water.
According to the Baltimore City Fire Department, the crash resulted in a mass casualty incident. Local media reports say that up to 20 construction workers were on the bridge at the time of the incident.
The video shows the moment the bridge collapsed. It appears that the ship hit one of the supports of the bridge, causing the roadway to break apart in several places and plunge into the water. The ship caught fire and appeared to sink.

Grace Ocean Pte Ltd, the registered owner of the ship, said that its Singapore-flagged container ship ‘Dali’ collided with a pillar of the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore, Maryland. According to the shipping company, the driver of the ship lost control of the vessel and the ship turned upside down.
