BSF ADG visiting different locations of India-Bangladesh borders under the jurisdiction of BSF Tripura Frontier.

Agartala: Additional Director General, BSF (Eastern Command), Ravi Gandhi, reviewed the security situations in Tripura and discussed various operational and administrative matters during his three-day visit to Tripura. Gandhi concluded his short trip on Sunday started on March 22.

IG BSF Tripura, Patel Piyush Purusottam Das, and other senior officers welcomed the ADG. IG BSF Tripura briefed the ADG about the general security scenario along the Indo-Bangladesh International border of the Tripura Frontier. The IG also briefed the ADG about the challenges along the Indo-Bangladesh border and measures taken to counter them.

During the visit, ADG paid tributes to the Bravehearts who sacrificed their life in the line of duty, took the round of campus, and interacted with the officers at Frontier HQ Tripura.

ADG accompanied by IG BSF Tripura, visited several Border outposts where he reviewed the operational preparedness and took stock of developmental work in bordering areas.

ADG also visited ICP Srimantapur, where he interacted with the deputy Region commander, Sarail, and BGB officers.  He further reviewed the functioning of ICP Agartala and IRPT Nischintapur.

ADG visit concluded after addressing Prahari Sammelan at BSF HQ Tripura, Salbagan. The ADG applauded the efforts and dedication of BSF personnel in safeguarding the international border of Tripura.
