“The struggle I have undertaken for the welfare of my people has taken a toll on my personal life and health. We are in the final stages of negotiation with the central government. On one hand, there is a king who has forsaken his palace and original party to secure the rights of his impoverished people, and on the other, there are promises made but not honoured. For me, all Indians should be treated equally,” the TIPRA Motha founder conveyed in his message.

Expressing frustration with the delay in addressing their concerns by the Central government, the TIPRA Motha leader declared, “For the past year, we have been given assurances, but if no action is taken, I will not consider my health or family. I will announce a hunger strike until death. If I perish, let it be for a just cause. I am already grappling with heart-related ailments.”

Asserting his determination to be recorded in the annals of history, the TIPRA leader emphasised, “I fear no one. My aim is not to harm but to fight until my last breath. In my absence, teach your children that our king fought for us. Let the entire nation acknowledge that a king sacrificed his life for his people. I lack the wealth of many contemporary leaders and possess no grand army, but I have a heart of gold. I am foregoing food to ensure every child is well-fed.”
