What can a non-government agency do to enrich the lives of rural women in India? This is neither a new question, nor does it have a definite answer. Why? Because we have learnt through decades that it may not always be one decisive step, rather, a series of crucial, small interventions that can bring about real change in the lives of millions. In this episode, Sangeeta interviews someone who firmly believes that changes, however small, must be welcome as long as they have a positive impact on those who have all the potential, but few avenues to express them.

Joining her is Vinay Jaju, a multifaceted individual,  the Managing Director of SwitchON Foundation, ONergy, and ONskills.

Vinay’s extensive experience includes collaborations with various governmental ministries such as the Government of India, as well as international organizations like the US Embassy, GIZ, UNDP, GE, and WWF.

Currently serving as the Managing Director of SwitchON Foundation, Vinay oversees the day-to-day operations, bringing his wealth of knowledge to guide the organization’s mission. Prior to this role, he contributed to GE Australia and Grameen Shakti Bangladesh, showcasing his global perspective.

Over the last 15 years, SwitchON Foundation, registered as the Environment Conservation Society, has grown as a dynamic, award-winning not-for-profit working across Clean Air and Sustainable Cities and Energy, Water, and Agriculture Nexus. The Foundation, which is currently working across 10 states in India, has a rather simple vision: a sustainable and equitable India.
