DEMU special train introduced by N.F. Railway to cater to growing demand

Responding to the increasing demand from passengers, Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has announced the introduction of a DEMU special train service between Guwahati and Barpathar. The decision aims to offer commuters an additional travel option along this vital route.

Scheduled to run daily, the DEMU special train will operate four trips in each direction, commencing from May 18th to May 21st, 2024. This initiative seeks to enhance convenience for daily commuters traversing this corridor.

The special train, numbered 07676 (Barpathar – Guwahati), will depart from Barpathar at 05:15 hours, reaching Guwahati at 12:45 hours on the same day. In the return journey, train no. 07675 (Guwahati – Barpathar) will leave Guwahati at 13:00 hours, arriving at Barpathar at 21:20 hours on the same day. The train will make stoppages at all stations en route during both legs of the journey.
