NFR to run special trains for ADRE Exam aspirants in Assam

Northeast Frontier Railways (NFR) has decided to extend the services of three pairs of special trains in a bid to clear the extra rush of passengers due to the ongoing surge in demand for travel.

According to the information, the three pairs of special trains will continue to operate on the existing days of service, timings, and stoppages from Mumbai to Kolkata.

The trains include Agartala to Kolkata special, Kolkata to Agartala special, Silchar to Kolkata special, and Guwahati to Kolkata special.

Under the new plan, the Agartala to Kolkata special train will now run on 13 trips on every Wednesday from April 3 to June 26, 2024. The Kolkata to Agartala special train will now run on 13 trips on every Sunday from April 7 to June 30, 2024.

The Silchar to Kolkata special train will now run on 13 trips on every Thursday from April 4 to June 27, 2024. The Kolkata to Silchar special train will now run on 13 trips on every Friday from April 5 to June 28, 2024.

The Guwahati to Kolkata special train will now run on 13 trips on every Saturday from April 6 to June 29, 2024. The Kolkata to Guwahati special train will now run on 13 trips on every Thursday from April 4 to June 27, 2024, NFR said in a statement on March 30.
