Indian Railways to run special trains amid summer surge

To clear the extra rush of passengers due to the festive season, the N. F. Railway has decided to extend the services of two pair of special trains.

From 1st April to 13th May, the 07046 train, Secunderabad – Dibrugarh – Secunderabad, will be run on every Monday, while the 07047 train, Dibrugarh – Secunderabad – Secunderabad, will be operated on every Thursday.

From 1st April to 24th June, the 07030 train, Secunderabad – Agartala – Secunderabad, will be run on every Monday, and the 07029 train, Agartala – Secunderabad – Secunderabad, will operate on every Friday. The special trains will also have additional stoppages at the Jalpaiguri Road station.

In addition, one-way special train No. 05013, Gorakhpur – Dimapur, is scheduled to depart from Gorakhpur at 19:50 pm on March 28 to clear the festive rush. The train is expected to arrive at its destination of Dimapur on Saturday at 03:45 pm.

The extension of these train services will be beneficial for passengers of other trains in those routes. The N. F. Railway urges all passengers to check the details of stoppages and timings of these trains on the IRCTC website and social media platforms before embarking on their journey.
