The chief minister did not specify whether the Assam Police team would travel to Singapore for the meeting.
On Wednesday, Sarma met with the Acting High Commissioner of Singapore to India, Alice Cheng, and External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar in New Delhi, seeking their full cooperation to assist the Assam Police in the cross-border investigation.
Zubeen Garg died in Singapore last month while attending the North East India Festival. His death is currently under investigation by a Special Investigation Team (SIT) of the Assam Police.
