Railway subsidy of Rs 56,993 crore reduces travel costs for passengers

To accommodate the increased passenger demand, the Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has decided to extend the services of several special trains. These trains will maintain their current schedules, including days of service, timings, and stoppages.

From 5th to 26th July 2024, Train No. 02525 (Kamakhya – Anand Vihar Terminal) will operate every Friday. In the return direction, Train No. 02526 (Anand Vihar Terminal – Kamakhya) will run every Sunday from 7th to 28th July 2024.

Train No. 05952 (New Tinsukia – SMVT Bengaluru) will run every Thursday from 4th July to 31st October 2024. In the return direction, Train No. 05951 (SMVT Bengaluru – New Tinsukia) will operate every Monday from 8th July to 4th November 2024.

Train No. 09525 (Hapa – Naharlagun) will run every Wednesday from 3rd July to 25th December 2024. In the return direction, Train No. 09526 (Naharlagun – Hapa) will operate every Saturday from 6th July to 28th December 2024.

Train No. 09189 (Mumbai Central – Katihar) will run every Saturday from 6th July to 28th December 2024. In the return direction, Train No. 09190 (Katihar – Mumbai Central) will operate every Tuesday from 9th July to 31st December 2024.

Passengers are advised to check the detailed stoppages and timings on the IRCTC website before planning their journeys.
